Promotion: Introduction of the new Dentyne Blast gum at the Bite of Seattle. Consumers entered the Dentyne Blast Misting Tent, received a sample pack of Dentyne Blast gum and were entered into a contest for concert tickets, limo ride and dinner for 10 people.
Media Execution: Rich Media (personality testimonials), data base marketing, event marketing and radio.
Results: Sampling to 300,000 festival attendees, 4% click through rate for online promotion.
IKEA - King County Recycling Online Quiz
CBS Radio has partnered with King County Recycling and IKEA to produce and execute an interactive promotion centered around an on-line quiz where people can test their knowledge about recycling. Participants learn about ways to recycle and have the chance to win great prizes. CBS Radio Seattle has created a special micro-site specifically for the King County Recycling/IKEA interactive quiz.
Each of the five CBS Radio Seattle stations have prominently placed banner ads alerting people to the interactive quiz. Each station has also put information on the quiz on each stations contest page. When they click on the banner ad or the link found on the contest page they are sent to the customized micro-site where they can take the interactive quiz and find great information on recycling.
CBS Radio Seattle is also running :10-:15 video vignettes on our online streaming radio player providing information on better recycling practices.
